End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control forklift is a really flexible machinery and is common in the material handling business. These machinery have great performance characteristics which are quite similar to sit-down electric forklift models.
These lift truck units are ideal for warehouse settings that have limited space. The space required to use these machinery are less than the three-wheel electric lift truck truck requirements. These equipment are an ideal alternative for applications which require frequent off and on access, as their stand-up design is an excellent feature.
The reach truck is a loading apparatus used by various businesses which maintain a storage facility that involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and supplies that are stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides simple and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great option for those who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not need yet in a way that is efficient and safe.
The standard reach truck unit is outfitted with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping tines that move down and up are mounted to the out-rigging. The forks also include a hydraulic setup that allows the operator to lift the load and move it over the out-riggers. This particular design not only provides much more balance to the overall load, but makes it really easy for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
After the reach truck finds the shelves which are designated for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the blades to swing into place and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into place. Normally, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet across with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
