Forklift Tire Specs
Forklifts have been an important device within commercial businesses and industry ever since the year 1917. Cushion (Solid) Tires
A cushion tire is made of solid polyurethane or rubber and is suitable for indoor applications on smooth surfaces. The cushion tire tread is bonded or pressed onto the steel ring of the tire. Cushion tires are rated for various load capacities and for ease of steering. Cushion tires are commonly utilized within warehouse atmosphere.
Pneumatic Tires
Pneumatic forklift tires are filled with foam or air. They are offered in two types: radial or bias. Depending upon the application, they come with various sidewall protection, tread depths and weight. Foam-filled pneumatic forklift tires maintain constant pressures and are less prone to punctures. Pneumatic tires are normally used outdoors on surfaces which are uneven and rough.

The comfortable ride which pneumatic tires offer along with the puncture resistance that solid tires provide are the combined features of Solid Pneumatic Hybrid Tires. They are an option to the outdoor pneumatic tire.
Large Rubber and Flotation Tires
Utilized on wheel loader forklifts are big rubber tires which can either be pneumatic, solid or foam. These tires are best for loading and transporting bulk things into processing equipment or onto trucks. Big flotation pneumatic tires are suited for masted rough terrain forklifts normally used at automobile recyclers, lumberyards and construction locations.
