Clark Forklift Specifications
Types
Clark manufactures an array of forklift trucks such as cushion trucks, narrow aisles and pneumatic trucks. The various models differ in terms of the way they operate. For example, heavy-duty forklifts used for agriculture and construction are powered by an internal combustible engine. Narrow aisle kinds designed to be used inside warehouses and various other confined spaces operate on rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
Based on the type of Clark forklift trucks, the lifting capacity could differ. Battery-powered forklifts have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, depending on the model. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion or IC types are recommended. They can lift from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
AC batteries, either 48 volt or 36 volt, are used to operate Clark electric forklift trucks. The internal combustible engine models have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC or Internal Combustion models have automatic transmission with three-speed, two-speed and single-speed types.
Frame/Cab
The frame/cab assembly is in the center of the forklift and includes overhead protective cover for the operator, controls and the seat. The frame includes the fuel tank, engine, wheels, transmission and trans-axle.
