Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic lift trucks offer versatility and height. These units are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck. The arm, or crane, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the operator to maintain a high degree of control while lifting the load to great heights. Regular forklifts aren't able to move the cargo away from and towards the forklift cab, while a telescopic forklift could allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly used in construction and agriculture. It is recommended for applications where greater lift and control is needed.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are recommended in situations requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that enable the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when picking up a cargo. It is available with a backrest that protects the loads from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is utilized for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This type of system is handy for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A man basket is a lift platform meant specifically to hoist personnel. The basket attaches to the forklift forks, held in with a chain or strap that is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the staff from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
