Used Manitou Telescopic Forklifts Corona

Manitou offers lots of different telescopic lift trucks, several which are rated as the most versatile machines on the market today. All telehandlers by Manitou come with a standard 4-wheel drive, designed for use in rough terrain environments, and in outdoor settings. The lift capacities vary from 35,000 lbs. to 3000 lbs. The equipment could lift heights ranging up to 70 feet on several units.

All models come with various steering modes such as crab steering and 4-wheel steering. Several of the other alternatives available for these models include Hydrostatic transmissions, frame leveling and outriggers. These types of machines can also use a wide array of attachments including: rotating carriages, fixed carriages, truss jibs, buckets, winches and grapples. There is a huge variety of telescopic lift trucks on the market and therefore, many different configurations. Be sure to do your research so as to select the best one for your specific use.

There are some specific things to always take into account when dismounting a forklift. Like for example, when dismounting, be sure to face the vehicle and never jump off of it. Maintain a 3-point stance, which means to consistently have both hands and one foot or vice-versa in contact with the machinery. Be sure to wear non-slippery and oil resistant shoes because correct protective shoes can certainly help to keep you safe. Do not wear loose garments or dangling jewelry, since these things might become caught. Wear the proper type of clothing. Make sure the the floor and the area surrounding the lift truck is free of debris or fluid that can potentially lead to a dangerous slip. Lastly, be alert and make sure there is no other traffic around when you are ready to dismount.
